It's web-based and doesn't run real-time, but in my case it found things that AVG and Lavasoft's Adaware didn't. A while back it used to only work with IE, but now it supports Firefox although you'll need to have the Java Runtime installed. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ Trend Micro’s Housecall is another good free anti-virus and anti-spyware program.
